Life of Bill Gates
Bill Gates (William H. Gates) was born on October 28,1955 Seattle, Washington as the second of 3 children. His father was a successful attorney. He was expected to follow in his father's footsteps. As a student Bill excelled in every subject but mathematics was always his favorite. When Bill turned 13 his parents believed he wasn't being challenged in his public school. So, his parents enrolled him in a highly demanding lakeside school. When Bill entered his school he was very fascinated with all the technology. Gates began to learn about the basics of computer programming with a group of his friends which included Paul Allen (his future business partner). Soon ,Bill and his friends were working part time jobs writing computer programs for large companies. He followed his parents wishes by going to Harvard. When the Altair, an inexpensive microcomputer, came on the market there was no computer software for that so Bill and Paul Allen dropped out of college and started a software business which turned out into Microsoft. In 1994 he married Melinda French and built a technological house overlooking lake Washington. Their house has 24 bathrooms! Bill started a foundation and has donated 28 billion dollars.
